 I have come to the realization that there is a duality to all things. That there will always be pros and cons with every decision, and every action has an equal and opposite reaction. This understanding gives me hope, when I see things that are intended for my harm and I can't directly see how it will work out for my good.  My faith is strengthened by this knowledge but even knowledge has a duality. It was knowledge of good and evil that drove man from the Garden of Eden but "My people die from a lack of knowledge". Man was tempted with knowledge from the serpent. Evidence of the first bite and its effects and affects on the human body can still be seen today. Eve was the first to receive the knowledge and then Adam. Who owns your life? Updated October 2025 I am all about owning your mistakes. I believe in taking ownership of my choices. I believe that life is a sequence of choices and a good life is based on good choices. I believe that playing the victim will only lead you to repeating the same mistakes over and over. If your failures are not your fault then that would mean that you did not fail and your way is still right, and will be repeated. Our life is a direct result of our choices,  yet do we own our life? As a Christian we learn that nothing we have is from our own works, but rather a gift from God. It is God who gave us life, its it is God who puts people into positions of authority, and it is God who created all things. God will harden one's  heart and soften another's . Our Salvation is Secured, Our Harvest is Not. Updated October 2025 You are going to heaven. It is settled. We can stop worrying about our salvation and start living like it. We live in a cycle of seed, time, and harvest. Every day we sow seeds, but our soil is toxic. The only plants growing are what we call weeds: dandelions. Dandelions are nutritious, but they taste bitter. They pump nutrients into the soil and aerate hard ground. They are God’s grace, manna from heaven. Even while we poison our own harvest, YHVH keeps providing. Yet we eat our dandelions and blame Him. Salvation is by grace, manna from God. Nothing we do changes that. But if you want more than dandelions, look at the seeds you are sowing. When we focus only on our salvation, our eyes are off the prize: love. We don’t need to be good enough for God.
