Repentance

Repentance
Updated October 2025

We are born bent inward. The first cry is mine, the first grab is me, and the fall is sealed before the cord is cut. Ego is not a late-night temptation; it is the womb we never left. Mercy hovered over Israel in the wilderness, but grace is the Son nailed to the tree so the Father’s glory could flood the earth. The Lamb received the scroll, then handed the crown back to the One who sent Him. Every miracle, every healed leper, every raised Lazarus was the Son saying, “Not Mine, but Yours.”
Repentance is not a feeling; it is a U-turn in the mind. Metanoia: think again, think differently, think like the Father. If the foot keeps walking the old path, the heart never turned. God is not hunting for flawless robots; He is hunting for sons who will let Him be their rescue. He refuses to be a spare tire we slap on a blown life and keep speeding toward the cliff.
People clutch money, titles, lovers, anything that promises another sunrise, because they smell the grave and panic. Fear of death is just ego in a panic room. God’s answer is brutal and beautiful: Die now. Not the body (yet), but the throne of I. Lay the will on the altar, let the old man bleed out, and watch the Spirit inflate the corpse with resurrection life. We are the body of Christ, purchased at the price of God’s own blood. The invoice is paid; the slave is free to serve the Master.
Yes, we sin. But we do not rehearse it. We rehearse righteousness. When we stumble, we do not hide in the bushes like Adam. We run to the throne room, palms open, and pray the only prayer that moves the decree:
“Father, I have sinned. I am unworthy. Have mercy on me, not for my sake but for Yours. Let Your name stay holy on these lips. I boast in Your righteousness alone. Be my refuge. Teach me Your ways, for You are just in all You do.”
Wash the mind every morning in the Word, because the world throws mud every afternoon. This is not about staying sinless; it is about staying surrendered. All things are lawful, but not all things build the kingdom. Some choices earn reward; some choices burn like straw. The fire is coming either way.
Salvation is settled.
Sanctification is war.
I decrease so He can increase.
I die so He can live.

Eat, Drink, Be Merry

Ecc 2:24 KJV There is nothing better for a man, than that he should eat and drink, and that he should make his soul enjoy good in his labour. This also I saw, that it was from the hand of God.  Many Christians fall victim to a false teaching that claims YHVH's favor can be earned through good works. Counter to this point is the fact that our righteousness is offensive to YHVH, compared to menstrual rags even.   On the other side of this misguided spectrum we find Christians that believe that we are free from the burden of sin, meaning that we can sin with no consequences.   I believe that the reality falls somewhere in the middle of these two extremes.   Ecclesiastes is considered one of the wisdom books. A deep study of Ecclesiastes should be standard for anyone trying to understand how to live biblically. Solomon explains how all our pursuits either good or wicked are pointless.   Ecc 7:16 KJV Be not righteous over much; neither m...

The Spirit of Love

My last post I revealed how emotions are spirits and how there are different types of spirits. There is a spirit of a man (i.e. his motives or his driving force), there is a spirit like a wind or a breathe (like an invisible force), and there is a spirit like an emotion (a feeling). My argument is that Love is a spirit but not an emotional spirit but rather a driving force. If the Holy Spirit of YHVH is Love then it would do us well to understand what Love is.  We always hear about the different types of love in the Greek. We will talk about these types of "love" but we will need to go beyond the Greek and into the Hebrew to see the Love that is YHVH. Definitions sighted from https://www.google.com/amp/s/greekcitytimes.com/2020/02/14/the-8-ancient-greek-words-for-love/ Eros (romantic, passionate love, lust) Philia (affectionate love, friendship) Agape (selfless, universal love) Storge (familiar love) Mania (obsessive love) Ludus (playful love) Pragma (enduring love) P...

The answer is Yeshua

Its no wonder that the Christian faith is dying. Every Christian seems to have the answers to life but none of them agree on what they are. What is the name of God? Is Jesus God or the Son of God? Is the Sabbath on Saturday or Sunday or seven days after the new moon? Is the new moon of the bible the full moon of today? Can we eat pork? Is the cross on your wall a graven image? What if we disobeyed our parents, does that mean I am going to die young?  Somewhere we have lost the point of the Gospel of Yeshua, The Salvation of YHVH. What does it mean to follow Yeshua? It would seem that most Christians believe it means to act like God.  The highest capacity churches are not preaching a message of repentance. The megachurches are preaching power to get health and wealth. Some by money and some by acts. Some churches teach of "the power of prayer" and "prayer circles" to see the manifestation of desires. They call these "miracles".  Some churches teach that we...
