Purpose of Life

What is the purpose of life? How should we live out this life? What is sin? I want to focus on the questions because I believe the answers can help in every area of your life. Understanding your purpose and defining right and wrong are pivotal to a "successful" life. Also discussing success and what it really means to be successful.

Our purpose is to be in the company of YHVH the creator, to bring Him companionship. It is for this that we was created, but God does not want slaves or forced companions. God wants you, under your own free will, to submit your life to Him. So then the purpose of this life is to grow and mature in mind, body and spirit.

To God there is no time, but life exist in time for without time every thing would happen at once. God has given us time to figure things out and decide on our own if we will submit our freewill to slavery for righteousness. Are we going to be self centered or are we going to put God first?

So how do we live out a life for God? By following His instructions! This also ties into what is sin, and defining right from wrong. Doing what you know is wrong is sin, this is a form of rebellion. Any form of rebellion against Gods will is sin. You can't define a single action as sin because God looks at your heart and sees your motive. Your intent is what defines a sin, not your action. God is more focused on why you did what you did than He is about what you did. Is your heart truly intent on living out Gods will? Only the pure in heart shall enter in.

Finally lets define success. Because success is the goal of every believer, but what does it mean to be successful? I can tell you that it is not material gain, for things of this world will burn away. I can tell you as well that it is not about power, because Gods will is that all are equal and justice prevails. The traditional ideals about success can not apply to a successful spiritual life then. Success must be tied to a life of Joy and Love, success comes from how you treat others not how others treat you. Success is God living through you. Life is a temporary realm of learning, of seed, time and harvest. Life is a gift from God and God wants you to honor Him with all He has given you.

Eat, Drink, Be Merry

Ecc 2:24 KJV There is nothing better for a man, than that he should eat and drink, and that he should make his soul enjoy good in his labour. This also I saw, that it was from the hand of God.  Many Christians fall victim to a false teaching that claims YHVH's favor can be earned through good works. Counter to this point is the fact that our righteousness is offensive to YHVH, compared to menstrual rags even.   On the other side of this misguided spectrum we find Christians that believe that we are free from the burden of sin, meaning that we can sin with no consequences.   I believe that the reality falls somewhere in the middle of these two extremes.   Ecclesiastes is considered one of the wisdom books. A deep study of Ecclesiastes should be standard for anyone trying to understand how to live biblically. Solomon explains how all our pursuits either good or wicked are pointless.   Ecc 7:16 KJV Be not righteous over much; neither m...

The Spirit of Love

My last post I revealed how emotions are spirits and how there are different types of spirits. There is a spirit of a man (i.e. his motives or his driving force), there is a spirit like a wind or a breathe (like an invisible force), and there is a spirit like an emotion (a feeling). My argument is that Love is a spirit but not an emotional spirit but rather a driving force. If the Holy Spirit of YHVH is Love then it would do us well to understand what Love is.  We always hear about the different types of love in the Greek. We will talk about these types of "love" but we will need to go beyond the Greek and into the Hebrew to see the Love that is YHVH. Definitions sighted from https://www.google.com/amp/s/greekcitytimes.com/2020/02/14/the-8-ancient-greek-words-for-love/ Eros (romantic, passionate love, lust) Philia (affectionate love, friendship) Agape (selfless, universal love) Storge (familiar love) Mania (obsessive love) Ludus (playful love) Pragma (enduring love) P...

The answer is Yeshua

Its no wonder that the Christian faith is dying. Every Christian seems to have the answers to life but none of them agree on what they are. What is the name of God? Is Jesus God or the Son of God? Is the Sabbath on Saturday or Sunday or seven days after the new moon? Is the new moon of the bible the full moon of today? Can we eat pork? Is the cross on your wall a graven image? What if we disobeyed our parents, does that mean I am going to die young?  Somewhere we have lost the point of the Gospel of Yeshua, The Salvation of YHVH. What does it mean to follow Yeshua? It would seem that most Christians believe it means to act like God.  The highest capacity churches are not preaching a message of repentance. The megachurches are preaching power to get health and wealth. Some by money and some by acts. Some churches teach of "the power of prayer" and "prayer circles" to see the manifestation of desires. They call these "miracles".  Some churches teach that we...
