Love God

The most important of these is to love YHVH with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.

Christians rarely love YHVH at all. Most Christians love Christ because of what he did for them, but I don't believe that is love. John 15:13 explains true love, selfless love. Love is not earned, it is given freely, without expectations. True love is a choice, not a feeling.

We throw the word love around without truly understanding what it means to love. We say we love chocolate or we love a movie but in reality we only enjoy these things because of the way they make us feel. We apply that same principle to relationships. Divorce is now more commonplace than ever or marriage is simply forgone all together. Premarital sex is standard dating protocol in order to determine a partners ability to satisfy our "needs".

We are told by the church that if we are not happy and fulfilled to simply divorce or separate from the relationship because God wants us to be happy. I can tell you that this is a lie, a corruption of Gods Word. It is true that God wants you to be happy, but it is not up to you to create that happiness.  YHVH said to put Him first and He will do the rest. Christ said love YHVH with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. Are you thinking about God when your seeking your own pleasure? Are we not being like Christ when we suffer for another? Are you living for God when your being adulterous? Is your heart really beating every beat to Gods rhythm when the adrenaline rush from doing something you know your not supposed be doing hits? Are you really truly trying to be more like Christ?

To love something is to die for it even when it doesn't deserve it. Do you truly believe that YHVH is ok with your sin? Christ said believe in me, trust me, the only way in is to obey these words - Lay down your life. Take appon yourself the sufferings of others (pick up your cross) and follow me.

The second is like the first. Love thy neighbor as you love yourself.

Eat, Drink, Be Merry

Ecc 2:24 KJV There is nothing better for a man, than that he should eat and drink, and that he should make his soul enjoy good in his labour. This also I saw, that it was from the hand of God.  Many Christians fall victim to a false teaching that claims YHVH's favor can be earned through good works. Counter to this point is the fact that our righteousness is offensive to YHVH, compared to menstrual rags even.   On the other side of this misguided spectrum we find Christians that believe that we are free from the burden of sin, meaning that we can sin with no consequences.   I believe that the reality falls somewhere in the middle of these two extremes.   Ecclesiastes is considered one of the wisdom books. A deep study of Ecclesiastes should be standard for anyone trying to understand how to live biblically. Solomon explains how all our pursuits either good or wicked are pointless.   Ecc 7:16 KJV Be not righteous over much; neither m...

The answer is Yeshua

Its no wonder that the Christian faith is dying. Every Christian seems to have the answers to life but none of them agree on what they are. What is the name of God? Is Jesus God or the Son of God? Is the Sabbath on Saturday or Sunday or seven days after the new moon? Is the new moon of the bible the full moon of today? Can we eat pork? Is the cross on your wall a graven image? What if we disobeyed our parents, does that mean I am going to die young?  Somewhere we have lost the point of the Gospel of Yeshua, The Salvation of YHVH. What does it mean to follow Yeshua? It would seem that most Christians believe it means to act like God.  The highest capacity churches are not preaching a message of repentance. The megachurches are preaching power to get health and wealth. Some by money and some by acts. Some churches teach of "the power of prayer" and "prayer circles" to see the manifestation of desires. They call these "miracles".  Some churches teach that we...

Spirits

Spirits Updated October 2025 John 4:24 KJV God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. Let me ask a question that may feel uncomfortable at first. If God is a Spirit, why do we try and create a second spirit? Scripture says YHVH is Spirit, yet we often speak of “the Spirit of God” as if it were separate. In my opinion it isn’t. There is one Spirit, and that Spirit is Love. Scripture names many spirits: spirit of jealousy, spirit of fear, a broken spirit, a contrite spirit, even evil spirits. But the spirit of a man is his core motive, his driving force, not an emotion. In the Book of Enoch (not canon, but helpful here), the Nephilim are punished and their spirits bound to the earth. Those restless spirits are what we call demons, I wonder what there motives could be. Spirits and emotions are deeply linked. Anger, fear, envy, lust, these are not mere feelings; they are spirits. So when every motive is ruled by raw emotion, a man becomes demonic. T...
