Who is Yeshua (Jesus)
Updated October 2025
Of all the Scriptures, Yeshua may be the simplest and most complicated to grasp. Some say He is fully God and fully man. Others say He was a man elevated to godliness. Others say He was only a prophet. The Good News is that Yeshua exists—validated by archaeologists and historians—died innocent on the cross, and was resurrected by YHVH on the third day.The belief in His resurrection is the faith. If He was not raised, He is not Messiah. If He was simply God changed into flesh, He could have done whatever He wanted. But that is not what is written. The Father is greater than the Son.

“What is an atom?
An atom is a fundamental piece of matter. (Matter is anything that can be touched physically.) Everything in the universe (except energy) is made of matter, and, so, everything in the universe is made of atoms.
An atom itself is made up of three tiny kinds of particles called subatomic particles: protons, neutrons, and electrons. The protons and the neutrons make up the center of the atom called the nucleus and the electrons fly around above the nucleus in a small cloud. The electrons carry a negative charge and the protons carry a positive charge. In a normal (neutral) atom the number of protons and the number of electrons are equal. Often, but not always, the number of neutrons is the same, too.
The negative electrons are attracted to the positive nucleus by the same electrical force which causes magnets to work. That's what keeps the atom together.”

Many people like to use water as an example of the Trinity. It does show one substance in three forms, but it fails to capture the creative force that is YHVH the Father of all things. Think of YHVH as the energy that binds every atom together, the force Northwestern describes. And think about matter itself:An atom is a fundamental piece of matter. (Matter is anything that can be touched physically.) Everything in the universe (except energy) is made of matter, and, so, everything in the universe is made of atoms.

“All things in our universe are constantly in motion, vibrating. Even objects that appear to be stationary are in fact vibrating, oscillating, resonating, at various frequencies. Resonance is a type of motion, characterized by oscillation between two states. And ultimately all matter is just vibrations of various underlying fields.”

We are starting to see the creative power of YHVH the Father. He did not cause a big bang—He spoke. Sound is vibration:— https://blogs.scientificamerican.com/observations/the-hippies-were-right-its-all-about-vibrations-man/
“Sound travels in mechanical waves. A mechanical wave is a disturbance that moves and transports energy from one place to another through a medium. In sound, the disturbance is a vibrating object. And the medium can be any series of interconnected and interactive particles. This means that sound can travel through gases, liquids and solids…
Imagine a church bell. When a bell rings, it vibrates… As the bell moves outward, it pushes against particles of air. Those air particles then push against other adjacent air particles, and so on… This push and pull pattern is a sound wave. The vibrating bell is the original disturbance, and the air particles are the medium.”

Think about the vibration all around us: the rustle of leaves, the chirp of a bird, your own heartbeat—feel it. The vibration from the Word of YHVH moves through all things. That vibration forms matter. Matter is Word made. All things were made through YHVH’s Word and by YHVH’s Word. His Word was with Him, sent forth to create, and will not return void. The Trinity is weakened by the water analogy but better explained here. The Father does not change into Yeshua. Yeshua is His Word made flesh, YHVH’s very Spirit expressed as matter. He is YHVH’s only begotten Son.Imagine a church bell. When a bell rings, it vibrates… As the bell moves outward, it pushes against particles of air. Those air particles then push against other adjacent air particles, and so on… This push and pull pattern is a sound wave. The vibrating bell is the original disturbance, and the air particles are the medium.”

Joh 14:28 NET
“You heard me say to you, ‘I am going away and I am coming back to you.’ If you loved me, you would be glad that I am going to the Father, because the Father is greater than I am.”
No scholar has ever explained how Yeshua can go to the Father, sit at His right hand, and still intercede for us—unless Yeshua is the Word of YHVH made flesh, and we approach the Father through the Son.“You heard me say to you, ‘I am going away and I am coming back to you.’ If you loved me, you would be glad that I am going to the Father, because the Father is greater than I am.”
Joh 1:14 KJV
“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.”
“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.”
Joh 1:1-2 KJV
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God.”
The Word was with YHVH and was YHVH—just as our words are separate from us yet fully us. I speak a word; it lingers in your mind, can be recorded, but it began in me. When YHVH spoke “light,” there was light. Yeshua is the express image of YHVH, doing only what the Father commands.“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God.”
Joh 6:38 KJV
“For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.”
Yeshua is the fullness of God in bodily form, yet when we call Yeshua God, let us not do so in a way that erases His obedience, or demotes His perfect submission even to death. It sets Him apart. Through Yeshua all things were made. Through Yeshua all things are saved. All authority is given to Him by YHVH as a gift, just as He was given to us freely. The glory always returns to the Father.“For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.”
Joh 14:6-7 NET
“Jesus replied, ‘I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you have known me, you will know my Father too. And from now on you do know him and have seen him.’”
If you know Yeshua, you know the Father—because Yeshua is the living Word of YHVH. The enemy clouds the truth with false teachings. The true Yeshua is found only in the Word of YHVH. Take responsibility for your faith: read the Bible and obey it.“Jesus replied, ‘I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you have known me, you will know my Father too. And from now on you do know him and have seen him.’”
