Warning, this is a hot topic and will result in much debate. Tithes historically pertain to farmers and food. So do we give a tenth of all our increase to the church or do we keep it all for ourselves? Let's answer this question without being to religious. Religion has often lead people away from the God they believe in and into a system where people can place themselves over others in seats of power or manipulation. This ofcourse is why we don't trust tithes in the first place. Why then should we tithe? There is a biblical principle behind tithing.
