The Responsible Christian

 The world has always been worldly and it has always valued possessions over people. Worldly people put their own comfort before the needs of others. The great apostasy is when the church falls away from the ways of Christ and becomes more worldly. I see an apostate mind upon the church already. I don't know if it's the great apostasy but it is greatly concerning.   Possession driven people have always been around and the message of Christ is opposed to such people. "If they rob you for your jacket give them your shirt as well. Worry not about what you will wear or what you will eat. Sell everything you have and give the money to the poor." These are the instructions of Christ and as such should be resonant in the church body, but the body has become infected.  First post of the year and looking to make an impact on the minds of those that read this. But that may not be possible. Fact is I don't know what direction to take this post. I have so many thoughts in my head and things I want to say, yet I need to remove myself from the equation and allow YHVH to speak His Word and His message.   I don't want to be caught up in my feelings and get stuck in a wrong way of thinking because I feel like it's right. Remember the Word calls us to put God first and others second. If my actions lead others to sin then I have sinned. If my words drive others away from the Lord then I have spoke against the Lord. My goal is to inspire you the reader to seek God and find the freedom He gives you. I desire to teach you to live without fear or worry. I pray that I can show you the Spirit of Christ and instruct you how to operate as His body.  I can show you the great things in my life as a motivator but that hides the bad parts from view and ...
