My Opening Message

First post of the year and looking to make an impact on the minds of those that read this. But that may not be possible. Fact is I don't know what direction to take this post. I have so many thoughts in my head and things I want to say, yet I need to remove myself from the equation and allow YHVH to speak His Word and His message.

I don't want to be caught up in my feelings and get stuck in a wrong way of thinking because I feel like it's right. Remember the Word calls us to put God first and others second. If my actions lead others to sin then I have sinned. If my words drive others away from the Lord then I have spoke against the Lord. My goal is to inspire you the reader to seek God and find the freedom He gives you. I desire to teach you to live without fear or worry. I pray that I can show you the Spirit of Christ and instruct you how to operate as His body.

I can show you the great things in my life as a motivator but that hides the bad parts from view and leads to envy or jealousy because I look better off than I am. So instead of talking about the material possession in our lives, which does not align with YHVH and his Word, I would rather talk about the fearlessness I live in. When my bank account is at zero and my bills are in the thousands how do I show my faith in God? When I have no food in the fridge and no money to shop with but my 5 kids are hungry, how do I show faith in the Word? Faith can only be demonstrated when faith is required.

I am not a perfect person but God loves me, just like he loves you, flaws and all. This year I want to lead more people to faith, not religion, and take the burden they feel and release it to God. But nothing comes from nothing and harvest comes from hard work. You will have to do your part and it's not easy, but you can be free in life from the trappings of this world. Put God first in all you do and put others before yourself, for what you do for others God will do for you.

The Spirit of Love

My last post I revealed how emotions are spirits and how there are different types of spirits. There is a spirit of a man (i.e. his motives or his driving force), there is a spirit like a wind or a breathe (like an invisible force), and there is a spirit like an emotion (a feeling). My argument is that Love is a spirit but not an emotional spirit but rather a driving force. If the Holy Spirit of YHVH is Love then it would do us well to understand what Love is.  We always hear about the different types of love in the Greek. We will talk about these types of "love" but we will need to go beyond the Greek and into the Hebrew to see the Love that is YHVH. Definitions sighted from https://www.google.com/amp/s/greekcitytimes.com/2020/02/14/the-8-ancient-greek-words-for-love/ Eros (romantic, passionate love, lust) Philia (affectionate love, friendship) Agape (selfless, universal love) Storge (familiar love) Mania (obsessive love) Ludus (playful love) Pragma (enduring love) P...

Elohim

Understanding Christ has been one of the greatest problems for my Christian life. How can you follow someone you dont know or understand. It is incredibly hard to reconcile Yeshua when the church world contradicts what the scriptures tell us. Yeshua is the Son of YHVH, and no matter what Bible scholars claim He is not God.  There are a few verses that teach us a theology of the God head, Father-Son-Spirit. Some want to believe that YHVH is all three at the same time while others believe that YHVH changes modes into each one when needed, but do these ideas actually hold water?    Heb 1:3-4 KJV 3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; 4 Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.  We will need to explore many verses ...

Eat, Drink, Be Merry

Ecc 2:24 KJV There is nothing better for a man, than that he should eat and drink, and that he should make his soul enjoy good in his labour. This also I saw, that it was from the hand of God.  Many Christians fall victim to a false teaching that claims YHVH's favor can be earned through good works. Counter to this point is the fact that our righteousness is offensive to YHVH, compared to menstrual rags even.   On the other side of this misguided spectrum we find Christians that believe that we are free from the burden of sin, meaning that we can sin with no consequences.   I believe that the reality falls somewhere in the middle of these two extremes.   Ecclesiastes is considered one of the wisdom books. A deep study of Ecclesiastes should be standard for anyone trying to understand how to live biblically. Solomon explains how all our pursuits either good or wicked are pointless.   Ecc 7:16 KJV Be not righteous over much; neither m...
