The Great Apostasy

The world has always been worldly and it has always valued possessions over people. Worldly people put their own comfort before the needs of others. The great apostasy is when the church falls away from the ways of Christ and becomes more worldly. I see an apostate mind upon the church already. I don't know if it's the great apostasy but it is greatly concerning.

Possession driven people have always been around and the message of Christ is opposed to such people. "If they rob you for your jacket give them your shirt as well. Worry not about what you will wear or what you will eat. Sell everything you have and give the money to the poor." These are the instructions of Christ and as such should be resonant in the church body, but the body has become infected. Success is now measured by the amount of stuff you can surround yourself with or how much money you can accumulate, not just in the world but also in the church.

The body of Christ is a group of people doing the work of Christ, not a church group who place their own comfort over the needs of others. My mission statement is to restore faith and responsibility to the people of God but my message is rarely received by church members. My greatest impacts have been on the lost and broken, people that don't know Gods love, helping those who don't know His Word see Gods hand in their lives.

Why is the church body so desperate for grace and mercy while the broken ones, with the law written on their hearts, are able to recognize a need to be better? We can't earn our salvation, that is a gift given. So salvation is not the issue here, every knee will bow and all will be saved. And if grace and mercy covers all sin then why not just be worldly? I have become convinced that the message of mercy has been translated to "do as though whilst", the very message of satanist like Alister Crowley. Messages like "last in this world will be first in the next" and "when a righteous man turns to sin all his righteous ways will be forgotten" have been replaced with "there is no sin". Where are the slaves of righteousness?

The scriptures tell us that sexual sins are different than all other sins, all other sins are outside the body but sexual sins are inside the body which is a temple of the Holy Spirit. We are one with God, so why do we take the Spirit of God into a perverse sexual relationship? Because He will forgive us? There is something lost in the church body, its head. It is not thinking with the mindset of Christ. The church body is not the body of Christ when it does not follow the instructions from Christ. He is our Lord, we MUST follow His commands.

ABBA Father YHVH, please forgive us for we do not understand what we are doing. Please Father awaken in me a mind to follow Your ways in everything I do. I have nothing that you have not given me Father, help strengthen my faith so that I can give all I have without fear or worry for these are not from You Father. I am humble before You Father, I am nothing without You. Amen.

The Spirit of Love

My last post I revealed how emotions are spirits and how there are different types of spirits. There is a spirit of a man (i.e. his motives or his driving force), there is a spirit like a wind or a breathe (like an invisible force), and there is a spirit like an emotion (a feeling). My argument is that Love is a spirit but not an emotional spirit but rather a driving force. If the Holy Spirit of YHVH is Love then it would do us well to understand what Love is.  We always hear about the different types of love in the Greek. We will talk about these types of "love" but we will need to go beyond the Greek and into the Hebrew to see the Love that is YHVH. Definitions sighted from https://www.google.com/amp/s/greekcitytimes.com/2020/02/14/the-8-ancient-greek-words-for-love/ Eros (romantic, passionate love, lust) Philia (affectionate love, friendship) Agape (selfless, universal love) Storge (familiar love) Mania (obsessive love) Ludus (playful love) Pragma (enduring love) P...

Elohim

Understanding Christ has been one of the greatest problems for my Christian life. How can you follow someone you dont know or understand. It is incredibly hard to reconcile Yeshua when the church world contradicts what the scriptures tell us. Yeshua is the Son of YHVH, and no matter what Bible scholars claim He is not God.  There are a few verses that teach us a theology of the God head, Father-Son-Spirit. Some want to believe that YHVH is all three at the same time while others believe that YHVH changes modes into each one when needed, but do these ideas actually hold water?    Heb 1:3-4 KJV 3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; 4 Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.  We will need to explore many verses ...

Eat, Drink, Be Merry

Ecc 2:24 KJV There is nothing better for a man, than that he should eat and drink, and that he should make his soul enjoy good in his labour. This also I saw, that it was from the hand of God.  Many Christians fall victim to a false teaching that claims YHVH's favor can be earned through good works. Counter to this point is the fact that our righteousness is offensive to YHVH, compared to menstrual rags even.   On the other side of this misguided spectrum we find Christians that believe that we are free from the burden of sin, meaning that we can sin with no consequences.   I believe that the reality falls somewhere in the middle of these two extremes.   Ecclesiastes is considered one of the wisdom books. A deep study of Ecclesiastes should be standard for anyone trying to understand how to live biblically. Solomon explains how all our pursuits either good or wicked are pointless.   Ecc 7:16 KJV Be not righteous over much; neither m...
