No Victims

Before we get all twisted with the title let me be clear, people can be victimized. I am aware that there are victims of crimes. We are talking concisely and spiritually there are no victims. God did not say "by the devil's hand you are condemned." In fact it's by your own words.

Job 9:20 NET Although I am innocent, my mouth would condemn me; although I am blameless, it would declare me perverse.

Job 15:6 NET Your own mouth condemns you, not I; your own lips testify against you.

Mat 12:37 NET For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.”

When I say there are no victims I am saying that we all have a choice to make. We are either taking responsibility for our faith or we are blaming others for our sin. The Word tells us over and over to confess our sins and return to the ways of the Lord. Examples:

1Ki 8:35-36 NET 35 “The time will come when the skies are shut up tightly and no rain falls because your people sinned against you. When they direct their prayers toward this place, renew their allegiance to you, and turn away from their sin because you punish them, 36 then listen from heaven and forgive the sin of your servants, your people Israel. Certainly you will then teach them the right way to live and send rain on your land that you have given your people to possess.

1Jn 1:9-10 NET 9 But if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous, forgiving us our sins and cleansing us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we say we have not sinned, we make him a liar and his word is not in us.

By becoming the victim we never take responsibility, nothing in our life is our fault and we are blameless. We would then stand before the Lord declaring our selves clean and in no need of salvation.  We would not need Him, we would be separated from Him forever. By defending ourselves we are fighting for our lives and not dying for Yeshua to live within us. We must admit that we are not worthy of Heaven and deserve hell, humble ourselves, and because of our love for YHVH and all He has done for us we allow that part of us to DIE. The Good News is that we can die spiritually before our bodies die allowing for a NEW life to be born in us, one that is Yeshua. That is why it is written-

Mat 16:25 NET For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.

The world tells us that we are perfect and powerful and equal to God... when in fact we are fixated on evil and weak to sin and far removed from God. We must let go of all that is in our control and ask ABBA YHVH what He wants us to do, and as His Son Yeshua He will answer us and guide us to His Will.

Luk 22:42 NET “Father, if you are willing, take this cup away from me. Yet not my will but yours be done.”

The Spirit of Love

My last post I revealed how emotions are spirits and how there are different types of spirits. There is a spirit of a man (i.e. his motives or his driving force), there is a spirit like a wind or a breathe (like an invisible force), and there is a spirit like an emotion (a feeling). My argument is that Love is a spirit but not an emotional spirit but rather a driving force. If the Holy Spirit of YHVH is Love then it would do us well to understand what Love is.  We always hear about the different types of love in the Greek. We will talk about these types of "love" but we will need to go beyond the Greek and into the Hebrew to see the Love that is YHVH. Definitions sighted from https://www.google.com/amp/s/greekcitytimes.com/2020/02/14/the-8-ancient-greek-words-for-love/ Eros (romantic, passionate love, lust) Philia (affectionate love, friendship) Agape (selfless, universal love) Storge (familiar love) Mania (obsessive love) Ludus (playful love) Pragma (enduring love) P...

Elohim

Understanding Christ has been one of the greatest problems for my Christian life. How can you follow someone you dont know or understand. It is incredibly hard to reconcile Yeshua when the church world contradicts what the scriptures tell us. Yeshua is the Son of YHVH, and no matter what Bible scholars claim He is not God.  There are a few verses that teach us a theology of the God head, Father-Son-Spirit. Some want to believe that YHVH is all three at the same time while others believe that YHVH changes modes into each one when needed, but do these ideas actually hold water?    Heb 1:3-4 KJV 3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; 4 Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.  We will need to explore many verses ...

Eat, Drink, Be Merry

Ecc 2:24 KJV There is nothing better for a man, than that he should eat and drink, and that he should make his soul enjoy good in his labour. This also I saw, that it was from the hand of God.  Many Christians fall victim to a false teaching that claims YHVH's favor can be earned through good works. Counter to this point is the fact that our righteousness is offensive to YHVH, compared to menstrual rags even.   On the other side of this misguided spectrum we find Christians that believe that we are free from the burden of sin, meaning that we can sin with no consequences.   I believe that the reality falls somewhere in the middle of these two extremes.   Ecclesiastes is considered one of the wisdom books. A deep study of Ecclesiastes should be standard for anyone trying to understand how to live biblically. Solomon explains how all our pursuits either good or wicked are pointless.   Ecc 7:16 KJV Be not righteous over much; neither m...
